Alix Mosieur lives and works in a tiny farming community in the Northwest with her 3 dogs, 12 cats and partner, Bruce.

Her award-winning art is diverse, but her first love and consuming interest is in painting portraits of Native Americas concentrating on those men involved in the Indian Wars of the last century.

Her great-great grandmother was “Nez Perce / Blackfoot” and Alix is currently doing research into her genetic roots.
