Gary, I received my drum today and I just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with it. The workmanship is beautiful!!! You truly are an artist and have found your calling in life. The sound is extraordinary and takes me back to the drumming I did with a shaman in Idaho a number of summers ago while serving at a hospital as a chaplain-in-training. Hi Gary, I've just received the drum yesterday at noon. It's awesome, looks great and also sounds great. This is the first skin drum I've ever got, I played it for while and it is very healing and can feel very connected to Mother Nature and ancestors of the past.  Me being partial native from my dad's side, I believe I have made the best choice to get it from you. Truly it is the best. I would play it every time whenever I think of my dad. HI - A couple of weeks ago I ordered a drum for a friend as a retirement gift.  I had a magical, well, profoundly spiritual experience because of the drum.  (Suffice it to say).   Anyway, I HAD to order one for myself and I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Long story - but thanks to you and your drums, there is life in my life and I now believe in (for lack of a better word) god. THANKS GARY !!! Vivian	Dear Gary, A quick note of effusive praise for the drum just received -- 18" "Strength in Light" single sided. No offense to your web designer, but the pictures do NOT do these magnificent drums justice. The painted image is beautiful, vibrant and living. The drum feels alive. You can feel the reverbs throughout the house. The tone is beyond meaningful: deep and full of throaty, harmonic tenor vibrancy. I can feel the positive vibrations in every inch of my body. My dogs (a Newfie and Shepherd) sing along. The hide itself is taut and exceptional, and it's clear how much care went into the lacing which is extraordinary. This is where the pictures do not do justice. The translucent and tight skins are a thing of glowing beauty, even in dim light, and you simply can't see that in pictures. You also can't see the paint from the images (which makes it look richer).  I love the custom drumstick with the fur. Nice tone and very handsome. Rather than a work of good craftsmanship and nice tone, the drum feels more a living spirit -- I suppose that's where you came up with your name, Living Drums. Thank you again!
